Lives and works in Bruxelles, Belgium.

Sight dominates life, it is time for our life to dominate sight.

Graduated in Fine Arts from the School of Arts of Ottawa, Canada.

In 2000, she went on residency at the Bag Factory, Johannesburg, South Africa.

Biennials, art fairs

Sergine André took part in the 54th Venice Biennial in 2011, with Haiti Kingdom of this world, in the first Haitian pavillion. Her work was presented at Art Basel Miami in 2011.

Sergine André is recipient, in 1997, of the Grand Prix of the Institut Français of Haiti « Discover the Young Painters » which enabled her to get invited to the ENSBA – Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts (National Superior School of Fine Arts) of Paris (1998).
